I rarely promote a particular insurance product, so this is an exception. There is a new dental insurance plan available for individuals and families in Georgia (and some other states), that is really good. What makes it so good is that it pays a very high percentage for major dental work and has high annual maximums to choose from. However, what makes this product unique is there is no waiting period for major dental work. Now, this feature is standard for most group plans, but it is not typical for personal dental plans.
I often get calls from people who want dental insurance because they are in pain NOW. Perhaps they found out they need a root canal. Well, most plans will only cover 10% or 20% of a root canal in the first year. This new product will cover 60% or 70%, depending on the plan selection. So, now I have good news for these folks.
